1. Our kids have been noticing (and/or stepping into...) lots of dog poop 
around the school grounds :(
 
Please remember those poop bags when you bring your dogs for pick-up/drop off and kindly remind our neighbours to do their part as well when they visit after school hours!

2. Don't forget those bike/scooter locks!
 
We've had several bikes and scooters taken off their racks and taken for a joy-ride to the Fall Fair Grounds or General Store lately, so make sure the kids are locking up their wheels :)

Welcome Parents to 2023-2024 hot lunch days at Brackendale Elementary!  

 We encourage you to order all hot lunch days that are available at the same time so your child does not miss out. Please follow the link and register your child if you would like to place an order.

 

There is a donation option in the order form to help provide hot lunch for another student who may wish to partake but is not able to at this time due to cost. Your contribution will go directly to food cost. The goal is to continue to have a more inclusive school experience for everyone.

 

There is also an option if you would like assistance, just a tick box on the order form for each hot lunch day and our program will cover the costs.

 

 Volunteers are always welcome on the Hot Lunch Days!

RCMPTalks: RCMPTalks sessions allow Canada's youth and parents/caregivers to have meaningful conversations with other students, police officers and experts from across the country without leaving their classrooms.

 

Parent/Caregiver Session

October 25th, 2023: Online Safety for Parents with C3P (Canadian centre for Child Protection). C3P offers resources and information to keep families, schools, child-serving organizations, and, most importantly, children safe.)

 

How it works

  • an expert guest speaker delivers an interactive virtual session on the chosen topic to each classroom
  • each session is 60 to 90 minutes in length and takes place on a secure online platform
