Dear Brackendale School Community,
As we embrace the festive spirit and the joyous holiday season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each and every member of our wonderful Brackendale family.
This time of year is a special opportunity for reflection and gratitude. I am immensely proud of our students who show kindness and care for one another and our school. I am grateful to our staff who model and teach our students about being positive leaders and how to make a contribution to the larger community. I appreciate the endless hours that our PAC spends on school initiatives and community events. I am thankful to our BRE families, whose support is never far away. We are very lucky to live and learn in such a supportive community.
Thank you families, teachers, staff, and students for upholding our shared values of empathy, inclusion and kindness. Following on the theme of our Winter Concerts, together we can make a change! And, we do!
May the coming year be filled with new adventures, inspiring learning, and exciting achievements.
I wish you all a happy and relaxing holiday.
Warm regards,
Ms. Saenger, Principal
HOLIDAY GIFT SHOP
THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone for donating items for the Holiday Gift Shop, sending money for the kids to do some shopping, and for the enthusiasm we can only imagine you'll have this holiday opening your specially picked out gifts from your kiddos!!
The kids love this event, as do the volunteers, and we couldn't be happier to say thanks to everyone's support, we raised over $900 for the Squamish Hospital Foundation!
Speaking of volunteers, a special thanks to YOU. From the sorting crew to the set up crew, to the holiday shopper helpers and wrappers and cleaner-uppers, we couldn't hold such a fun event focused on the GIVING spirit of the season without you. Don't forget this one for next year folks- it's a brilliant volunteer day :)
